Ani Petkova

Senior Researcher of the CBC OneDrop project

Graduated from the St.-Petersburg State Polytechnic University in 1996. In 1999 at the same Institute she defended her candidate thesis on “Influence of metal quality on the localization of damage and mechanical properties of structural steels and alloys” and in 2003 – her doctoral dissertation on “Patterns and structural-physical mechanisms of low-temperature radiation embrittlement of corrosion-resistant structural materials”. Since 2000 she worked as an Associate Professor, since 2004 as a Professor, and since 2011 as a Chief Researcher of the research laboratory “Mechatronics” of St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University (SPbPU). She is currently the Chief Researcher of the research laboratory “Mechatronics” of the SPbPU Higher School of Automation and Robotics. She has more than 50 scientific and educational papers, 15 patents; has prepared 4 Candidates of Sciences in different field of technical science. She is a manager and an executor of a number of research works in topical areas of science and technology (material science, automation, ecology, nanotechnologies in mechanical engineering, etc.). In 2017-2018, she worked as secretary of the Scientific Council for Materials Science. Ani is currently working as a senior researcher at OneDrop project.
