Hamid Roozbahani

Dr. Hamid Roozbahani has received his M.Sc. and D.Sc. in Mechatronics from LUT University and currently works as a research scientist, project manager and lecturer at the Laboratory of Intelligent Machines – Department of Mechanical Engineering, LUT University. Currently, he is the project manager of CBC OneDrop project as well as LUT-TIERA II project. In addition, currently, he is collaborating on LUT-UltraSimmi, Horizon2020 – Phoenix and EKAR-RoboCamp projects.

His former project management record connects him to FP7-APPOLO, TEKES – NewARea and LUT-TIERA I. He has published more than 30 academic papers in accredited journals and peer-reviewed conferences and were invited as a keynote speaker in several events in the field of mobile robotics. He has supervised more than 50 B.Sc., M.Sc. and interns and currently is supervising 5 doctoral students on OneDrop project. He has also 4 published patents in the field of real-time monitoring on his belt.  Besides his activities at LUT University, he has a great collaboration on an international level with several institutions and companies and currently collaborating with Wichita State University as a research fellow and BRP-Rotax as a research project manager. His research interests are Mobile Manufacturing Robotics (MMR), real-time ultra-high-speed monitoring and human body real-time monitoring. Currently, he is lecturing 3 major courses at LUT University and has an intensive course lectured in St. Petersburg- Russia.
