Denis Porokhov

Denis Porokhov, PhD in pedagogy graduated from St. Petersburg State University in 1987 with a degree in physics and worked for four years at the State optical Institute as a junior researcher in the field of fibre optics. As a guest scientist, he worked in the geophysical laboratory “EGGIS” in the field of mathematical modelling of geophysical processes. Since 1993, he moved into the field of teaching in schools in St. Petersburg. At the same time actively engaged in the organization and management of research activities with students. In 2007 he defended his thesis on pedagogy at the St. Petersburg Russian state pedagogical University.

Since 2007 also works in the educational institution of additional education of teachers “Educational technologies” as the methodologist, is engaged in questions of approbation of the educational equipment and teaching of courses for teachers of the city. Currently, he continues to work as a methodologist in the company “Educational technologies” and teaching physics in the gymnasium № 524. He has more than 20 publications in the field of fibre optics, Geophysics, pedagogy.
